What is the cost for bespoke stationery design?

Pricing varies for each project, depending on the design details and how many pieces are required. As a guide, costs start at £600 for an invitation + information card, and wedding map starts at £600. If you haven't yet finalised your plans or ideas and would like an estimate for stationery, get in touch using the contact form here to receive my brochure and pricing guide.

What is the minimum order?

There is no minimum order. I love working on events of all sizes, from an intimate couple elopement to weddings with hundreds of guests. The commission fee is based on the design fee + print costs. The design fee is a set rate. The print costs work on a sliding scale, where a small batch means stationery items cost more per piece than a large batch.

Do you deliver to international addresses?

Yes! International shipping time will depend on where you are in the world. Shipping rates are from £30 for international orders, you can find a guide for shipping fees here.

When should I send my wedding stationery?

Save the Dates should be sent at least 6 to 8 months before your wedding day. This will allow your guests to plan their travel and accommodation. If you're having a destination wedding the ideal time is 10-12 months ahead.

Wedding Invitations should be sent out 3 to 4 months ahead, and 4 to 6 months prior for destination weddings. Remember to account for the delivery time needed for your mail to reach your guests.

How many invitations should I order?

One save the date or invitation per household is recommended. For on the day stationery such as menus and place cards, one per person. It’s good to order 10 to 15 extra of each item in case you have last minute changes to your guest list, and have a few for keepsake.

Can I see samples of the stationery before ordering?

Absolutely! Please click here to buy a sample set.

What kind of paper do you use?

Stationery is printed onto a paper stock of your choice. For digital printing I use a 300gsm weight paper - similar to a regular greeting card, with a smooth or textured finish. For letterpress printing, a 600 gsm board is used. Coloured envelopes are made from a beautiful range of papers with matte finish. All paper stock is very high quality and environmentally friendly, made with processes that safeguard natural habitats, using raw materials from sustainable sources.

Will I see stationery proofs throughout the design process?

You’ll be able to see what the stationery looks like at each stage of the design process, via digital proofs.
A digital proof shows you the composition of your stationery, where you can review the illustrations, font and colours, to make sure you’re happy with them. When you’ve approved the final composition, the stationery is printed. If you’d like to review a printed copy of the stationery before printing the entire order, you can order a printed proof, which will be sent to you via post.

What is the turnaround time for my order?

Every order has a unique turnaround time, depending on the requirements for the commission. As a general rule, the design process takes anywhere from 1 - 3 months. This allows time for the design and review process, where you’ll be shown the designs and be given time to review them. From pencil sketches to painted composition, you’ll be consulted at every step of the way.

Once approved, the design will take around 12-14 days for digital printing and 21-30 days for letterpress printing. If you require envelope addressing, embellishments like wax seals or ribbons, add 3-4 days to your order.

Can you process rushed orders?

Rush orders will be assessed on a case by case basis. Please send me an email here, and tell me what items you'd like to order, the specifications and quantity and the delivery date needed. I'll get in touch as soon as possible to let you know if I can fulfil your order.
