I had the pleasure of helping Georgia and Sam with on the day stationery for their wedding in Provence. Georgia has been going to this region for family holidays since she was a girl and knew she wanted to get married there.
The colour palette was inspired by the Provencal region, with lavender, honey colours and touches of pale blue. The map illustrates wedding activities and places to explore with a nod to French cutlure. Beautiful linens and wildflowers decorated the wedding table. In keeping with this simple elegance the menu was an understated design with names written at the top in hand calligraphy, serving as a menu and name card combined.
"Michelle spent time and interest to completely understand our vision and creatively put forth various proposals visually interpreting our ideas. The end products were magnificent! Whether suggesting fonts, layout designs, calligraphy ideas, color schemes, paper choices, ribbon sizes, etc., she was always full of glorious ideas and never hesitated to incorporate our suggested changes into her working drafts.
She was always accommodating - working across time zones to respond to us in NYC, nothing was ever a problem. She made every effort to adapt to our needs and was attentive to the production schedule in order to ensure that the final products were ready and delivered on time!
Michelle helped to "bring the wedding to life" and as many guests commented, added much to the joy of the occasion. All in all, a truly wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Michelle and her work for any occasion."
