Sustainable wedding stationery

Sustainable wedding stationery

While we're making something beautiful, we’re also caring for the environment.

Over the years I've curated a selection of beautiful papers for painting and printing, all made from sustainable sources. One of the many eco initiatives by Mohawk Paper is their use of wind energy to generate the mill’s electricity. My clients share my love for Colorplan envelopes which use no harmful chlorine to make their beautiful colours. St Cuthberts Mill makes watercolour paper in harmony with the local countryside, with a wide variety of wildlife living next to the mill.

Also picture frames are made with wood from responsibly managed forests. They’re delivered in plastic free packaging, which is reused to post the framed wedding venue illustrations to my client.

Whenever we have a home delivery, I save the packing peanuts, bubble wrap, paper and boxes for reuse where possible.

For this South of France wedding inspiration, I used Cranes Lettra, a luxurious paper that is 100% cotton and tree free. The entire suite was made by hand. Each invitation and menu was painted in watercolour to give a feeling of the sea and printed with letterpress here in London. The polished sea glass was finished with painted calligraphy names and touches of gold paint.

As a client you can be assured that we are together in caring for our world.
